Unravelled – Creativity as an Embodied Practice
Your hands already know the way — this is where you learn to trust them
A knitting and embodiment course for fibre artists ready to release fear and find their truest creative voice.
You picked up your needles because something in you needed to create.
But somewhere along the way, the joy got tangled up in doubt. The fear of doing it wrong. The comparison. The unfinished projects sitting quietly in the corner, carrying the weight of what you couldn’t quite begin — or finish.
Creativity flows when we flow. And flowing starts in the body. Sometimes we need to unravel something before we can remember that.
Unravelled is a five-module online course that bridges psychosomatic awareness with the embodied practice of knitting. Through somatic exercises, guided reflection, and hands-on creative practice, you’ll learn to recognize whatever it is that blocks your full creativity, find tools to start letting go — and come home to a craft that feels like yours again.
It contains 9 short videos, two guided exercises, five pdf files with science- and experience-based information, writing exercises and reflection exercises.
This course is for you if:
You love fibre arts but feel stuck, blocked, or afraid to experiment. You want to reconnect with the joy of making without the weight of perfectionism. You sense that your creativity and your wellbeing are more connected than you’ve been told.
What you'll work towards:
A deeper trust in your own creative voice. An embodied practice that nourishes you. The freedom to create without fear.
