Choosing Colours

An intuitive practice for people who are tired of overthinking it

Most of us don’t choose colours so much as argue with them. We weigh, second-guess, and reach for rules we were taught. In this workshop we slow down enough to notice what a colour actually does in the body before the thinking mind steps in.

Together we’ll practise looking closely, listening to the feeling beneath a colour, and trusting that feeling as a legitimate way of knowing. You’ll leave with a handful of practical tools for choosing colours in your next project, whether that’s yarn, paint or a wardrobe and with a steadier relationship to your own intuition.

You’ll receive:

Who it’s for / what to have to hand:

anyone making creative choices who wants to trust themselves more. Bring a few objects, yarns, fabrics or paints, plus something to write with.
